Mary Corita Kent (1918-1986) grew up in Los Angeles and joined the Order of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1936, taking the name Sister Mary Corita. Her art was popular in the 1960s and reflects her spirituality and commitment to social justice. She designed the United States' first "Love" postage stamp. Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500.
