Maurits Cornelius Escher (1898-1972) PATH OF LIFE I (BOOL 424) Woodcut printed in red and black, 1958, on laid Japon, signed, dated, inscribed eigen druk and III in pencil, very pale matstain, old linen tape along top sheet edge recto, the red attenuated, a few printer's and other creases in the margins, a few pressure marks in the margins, a small area with a few unobtrusive pressure marks in the image at right, some (printer's?) ink verso, otherwise in good condition, with good or full margins. 16 1/8 x 16 1/8 inches; 410 x 410 mm. Sheet 19 x 19 inches; 483 x 483 mm. C
