PHILIPPE HALSMAN 1906-1979 Halsman Photographs Warhol. [New York]: Nahan Galleries, [1980]. Set number 29 of 100, each print numbered on the rear. Large leatherette portfolio, 21 3/4 inches (55 cm), with title stamped in gilt, containing eight mounted C-prints of Andy Warhol and (in one instance) the members of The Factory. The prints, which are in various sizes and formats, are all signed and numbered verso by Yvonne Halsman with the "Photo by Philippe Halsman" and "Yvonne Halsman" stamps. Light wear to portfolio, generally a near fine copy, all images in fresh condition. These photographs were taken by Halsman in the 60s, and issued together posthumously under the direction of his widow.
