작품 상세

This Andy Warhol work is from the unsigned edition of 500 published by List Art Posters for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York. It is designed to look like an oversized ticket stub. Size: 44.5 x 26 in. Frame: 50 x 29.25 in. Print date: Unknown. Condition of poster is very good with minor wear on the corners. It is mounted in the frame slightly projected from the white background allowing the entire edge of the paper to show. Frame has some condition issues on the corners but still presents very well. Please be sure and view all photos for condition. It was first created in 1967 for the 5th New York Film Festival, held at Philharmonic Hall at Lincoln Center from September 20-30. The design features vibrant colors, a floral motif, and an intentional misalignment in the printing to create an effect of movement and excitement. The print reflects Warhol's interest in commercial culture and cheap commodity items. Provenance: From the estate of a private collector in Florida. Congratulations to the winning bidder!
