Original vintage public safety poster published by the Safety Department of the American Automobile Association featuring a striking illustration of a responsible schoolboy patroller in uniform with a visibility strap across his jacket holding back a group of children with an outline of a police officer looking out to the viewer and reaching over to guide the boy on the shoulder, the title text in blue above - The Policeman's Right Hand Man - and below in red - Obey Your Schoolboy Patrol - with an ink stamp of the Rocky Mountain Motorists A.A.A. Western Colorado Division, Grand Junction, Colorado. The school safety progam was created in 1920 (sponsored by the American Automobile Association in the 1930s); the AAA Colorado was founded in 1922.
