작품 상세
Measurements: 7cm * 3.5cm (2.8" 1.4"). Hetian jade is the most expensive and superb jade among all stones. This was an elegant Hetian white jade Ruyi made in the Qianlong Period (1736-1795). It was only after Sinzhang Province was settled by late 18th Century that the Palace was able to obtain the raw Hetian jade boulders. This jade Ruyi was made as a symbol of longevity because the fungus Lingzhi was a very long living plant. This piece was made by the Palace craftsman who was ordered by Qianlong Emperor. This was used for himself and could also be used as a gift to foreign Ambassadors. This was indeed an excellent piece of artifact of the Qing Dynasty.
