Photograph and scrapbook album likely compiled by Alice Malcomson, second wife of coal dealer Alexander Young Malcomson. Documentation of the family‘s trips to California, Galveston, New Orleans, and Canada between 1918 and 1920, with ephemera and letters dating to 1921. Images and ephemera from California include snapshots of Venice, Laguna Beach, Santa Monica, Pasadena, and the San Gabriel Mission, with ephemera from various locations including menus from inns and clippings of prayers.
