This is a rare 110 year old photograph of famous American pioneer aviator Horace Kearney in his hydroplane. See the final scan for information regarding this historical flight and its tragic ending. All of our aviation photos are original "Type 1" unless otherwise noted. Type 1 photographs are both taken and printed in the same year unlike later prints that are so often sold as "original".
