This is a very rare 127 year old cabinet photograph or CDV of a bicycle racer. The photographer and location can be seen at the bottom of the CDV, but what makes this so very special is that a record of his accomplishments appear on the back in his contemporary hand! The date appearing at the very bottom of this impressive list is July 1st, 1896.
