TODD WALKER (1917 – 1998) 5 vintage 1970 silver prints, Untitled, Sabatier solarizations. 10 x 8 gelatin silver prints. Walker had a career as an award winning commercial photographer. His connections with Wynn Bullock, Edward Weston and later Robert Heinecken, led to his turning to photographic art. He was engaged with experimental processes of manipulating photographs. The Sabatier process involves manipulations of light in the darkroom on original negatives. These negatives were often of nudes. The results resemble some of Man Ray’s manipulated works. Walker was an influential teacher at various institutions. He has signed and written the date and the process in pencil on the bottom. versp. Excellent condition.
