- ELSKEN, Ed van der (Dutch 1925 - 1990). Moving announcement sent to Corneille and his wife, 1974. Original printed photomontage by Ed van der Elsken. Postcard sent to 'Madame et Monsieur Corneille 20 Rue Santeuil Paris.' and stamped Paris 1974 with a photomontage of his children against the bare belly of Ata Kando arms akimbo (only fingertips visible). With autograph texts in facsimile in speech balloons, written in French (heavily misspelled, partly phonetic): "ed van der elsken, le photographe, vous souète la bonnannée et illa changez d'adresse: sétais 12 Rue Guisarde, Paris"; Cès main tenant: 34 bis Rue de Brancas, Sévres (Seine et Oise); Cés pas loing. 5 minutes du métro Pont de Sèvres. Illabite toujours à Paris, pour inci dire. Illa aussi le telléphone: OBS 02-29". Upper right corner dog-eared, some unobtrusive creases and browning, good condition.
