Noted often as 'Britain's answer to Helmut Newton', Bob Carlos Clarke's erotic images included female models who sometimes were employed 'on-request' out of magazines, as well as the celebrities Rachel Weisz and Keith Richards and the Amazonian models from the 1990s. Commercial success came with publications on the chef Marco Pierre White (White Heat, 1987), who collaborated with and remained a friend of the photographer until Clarke's death in 2006.
