Everything is in very good condition with only occasional insignificant signs of use to the slipcase. The image measures 20 x 16 cm, the sheet 24.2 x 18 cm. The dimensions of the cloth-covered folder are 33.5 x 25.7 cm and of the slipcase 24.5 x 26.5 x 3.7 cm. Rineke Dijkstra (geb. 1959) Rineke Dijkstra studied from 1981 to 1986 at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Afterwards she worked as a freelance photographer for fashion magazines and a business magazine. Artistic dissatisfied with the photo experienced self-presentation of the models and the portrayed she searched for naturalness and authenticity. Thus she began in the early 1990s, to photograph children and young people in bathing suits on the beach that brought her international attention. Dijkstra works in conceptual series and documents her models often over several years. Her photographs and videos have been shown in numerous international exhibitions.
