작품 상세
13 7/8 x 11- inch gelatin silver print on heavy paper, with Mili's stamp on the verso. A long pen inscription verso by the Picture Editor of Ladies' Home Journal tells how he engaged Mili to photograph a story about prejudice against babies from unmarried mothers. Since 1 in 12 babies were said to be illegitimate, they assembled 12 babies, one of whom was illegitimate, and challenged readers to tell which one. The photograph shows the scene being set up in Mili's studio.
