Very good condition Best known for his beach scene photographs, Massimo Vitali set up a custom-made perch 20 to 30 feet in the air to frame the landscape background in his large format camera. After waiting for the area to fill up with people, he then takes his images. This photograph is rich with banal detail; a large mass of people is crowded close together, wedged between the storefront and the sea, while toy-like paddle boats float in the foreground. Executed in 2007 and printed in 2012, this c-print is mounted on diasec. From an edition of 35, this work measures 36 ⅕ x 46 ½ inches. Excellent, original condition.
