The image size is 26.2 x 34.9 cm and the cardboard measures 32.2 x 45.8 cm. Carlo Naya (1816-1882) Carlo Naya studied law in Pisa. He worked e.g. in Prague and Constantinople, where he experimented for the first time with daguerreotypes. Further, he travelled to countries such as Egypt. Naya opened his own studio in 1868 in Venice, which after his death remained in existence until 1918. The photo archive was carried forward by the company O. Böhm Fotografo-Editore until 1980.
