The c-print on Fujicolor crystal archive paper is entitled "N.Y Carlsberg Glyptothek Copenhagen III" and comes with the hardcover and bilingual edition 'Zwölf-Twelve'. The latter has 88 pages with 34 color plates, essays by Annette Haudiquet and Pascal Beausse and was published by Schirmer/Mosel. The photograph as well as the book are in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear. The image is mounted with photo corners under a mat. It is verso titled, dated and signed 'Glyptotek Copenhagen, 2000, Candida Höfer' in pencil and is the '35/100' copy. The sheet size of the photograph is 29 x 24.5 cm and the dimension of the book is 29 x 24.5 cm. Candida Höfer (b. 1944) Candida Höfer is considered a representative of the Düsseldorf School of Photography and is one of the most internationally renowned German photographers, alongside Andreas Gursky, Thomas Struth, Thomas Ruff and Axel Hütte. From 1963-1964 she took an internship at the renowned photo studio Schmölz-Huth in Cologne and subsequently studied Photography at the Kölner Werkschule. She gained further knowledge on film at the Dusseldorf Academy of Art when taking a course there in 1973. From 1997 to 2000 she worked as a professor of photography at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe and was also a member of the Freie Akademie der Künste in Hamburg. As a student of Bernd and Hilla Becher, Candida Höfer is regarded as a renowned and avant-garde artist of contemporary photography. She also created an extensive series of photographs depicting public interiors that are characterized by the absence of people.
