"Harold Edgerton: Ten Dye Transfer Photographs" portfolio. 1938 - 1973/printed 1985. 10 dye transfer prints. Each circa 36 x 46 cm and (41 x 51 cm). Each signed by the photographer in pencil on the verso and matted. In original navy/burgundy linen clamshell case (some light scuff marks, edges lightly rubbed) with credit and title with printed colophon, Palm Press Inc., Littleton, 1985. One of 26 artist's proofs numbered A-Z in pencil on the colophon, from a complete edition of 30 publisher's copies and a regular edition of 300. The portfolio includes: "Football Kick", 1938; "Diver", 1955; "Milk Drop Coronet", 1957; "Cranberry Juice into Milk", 1960; "Moscow Circus", 1963; "Bullet through Banana", 1964; ".30 Bullet Piercing an Apple", 1964; "Cutting the Card Quickly!", 1964; "Pigeon Released", 1965 and "Bullet through Candle Flame" 1973 (with Kim Vandier). - Prints in excellent condition with rich colors.
