Born in 1942 in Wernburg (now Wernigerode, Germany), he moved to Austria at a young age, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under Herbert Boeckl, and from the 1970s onward participated in exhibitions at the Vienna Künstlerhaus and international galleries, dedicating himself to figurative painting with mythological and allegorical motifs. Kubiczek created expressive nudes, portraits, and symbolic compositions with bold impasto, dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, and visionary intensity, influenced by Boeckl, Fantastic Realism, and Baroque drama.
