Pair of large whale bone jaw sections, one painted with colorful whaling scene and a different whaling scene in black and white. Each initialed FB and identified as Francisco Jose de Barcelos, a New Bedford scrimshander who came to New Bedford from the Azores in 1969 and quickly made a name for himself among collectors and museums. 22 in high x 14.5 x 4 in deep.
