A RARE BLUE AND WHITE 'MISTY MOUNTAIN' BRUSHPOT, BITONG Shunzhi The cylindrical vessel with slightly waisted sides, finely painted around the exterior with a continuous mountain landscape with a walled courtyard beside rocky cliff, two figures with umbrellas indicating rainy weather, the landscape dotted with 'blobby-dot' mist amidst various trees, further along a sampan ferries the two figures with umbrellas to the other shore with a tall pagoda, all between incised borders at the foot and mouth, the base unglazed. 20cm (7 7/8in) high.
