Otto Dinger, Pendants Portraitstudien älterer Herr mit Vatermörderkragen und Lesebrille im Seitenprofil; Herr mit Kopfbedeckung, wohl einer Kippa, Ölstudien auf Malpapier auf Karton kaschiert, um 1900, je links bzw. rechts oben signiert "Dinger", rückseitig je nochmaliges Künstlermonogramm "Dg", auf dem Rahmen Etiketten der Mainzer Kunst- und Rahmenhandlung "Josef Weber Mainz", von dieser wurden die Bilder laut Etiketten im Jahr 1971 gereinigt und gefirnist, auf dem kleineren Portrait rückseitiger Zettel mit neueren Annotationen zum Künstler, Rahmen, Falzmaße je ca. 14,5 x 16 bzw. 18 x 20,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Portrait- und Genremaler, Illustrator und Radierer (1860 Düsseldorf bis 1921 Berlin), studierte an der Akademie Düsseldorf, später Schüler von Karl Köpping in Berlin, beschickte ab 1891 Berliner Ausstellungen, u. a. die „Großen Berliner Kunstausstellungen“, tätig in Berlin, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Dressler und Müller-Singer. Otto Dinger, Pendants Portrait Studies Older gentleman with patricide collar and reading glasses in side profile; gentleman with headgear, probably a kippa, oil studies on painting paper laminated on cardboard, around 1900, each signed "Dinger" at top left and right, respectively. signed "Dinger" upper left and upper right respectively, each with the artist's monogram "Dg" on the reverse, labels of the Mainz art and frame shop "Josef Weber Mainz" on the frame, according to the labels the paintings were cleaned and varnished by the shop in 1971, the smaller portrait has a label on the reverse with more recent annotations on the artist, frame, inner dimensions approx. 14.5 x 16 and 18 x 20.5 cm respectively.
