19th C. French Enamel On Copper & Porcelain Ladies.(1) French lady dressed in what appears to be an ermine cape hand painted on copper in a bronze frame. This is probably a painting of some royal lady. We were unable to identify her. Signed lower right, "Rochat." Visible image: 2 1/2" X 4". Frame: 4" X 6 1/4". (1) Enamel on Limoges portrait plaque of Fiametta. Signed by the artist. Fiametta is a fantasy creature produced by Cupid from the flame of love, who took the form of an earthly girl in order to charm Court Sterngold in the play "Fiametta." Visible image: 1 3/4" diameter. Bronze frame: 3 7/8" X 5 1/4". Condition- Good condition. See photos.
