Jean Marc Nahas, Lebanese b.1963- Dar’ aa 3 & Dar’ aa 4 from the series of “Arab Spring”; Works on paper, 55 x 75 cm each (framed) (2) Note: Born in Beirut in 1963, Jean-Marc Nahas is a renowned Lebanese/Canadian artist who earned his M.F.A. from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts (ENSBA), Paris, and Penninghen. Dividing his time between North America, Europe, and the Middle East, Nahas's work is held in museums, private and public collections worldwide, including The British Museum, Sursock Museum, Bank Audi Foundation, and prestigious art galleries. Notable collections include 20 pieces at The British Museum, 18 pieces at Bank Audi Foundation, and contributions to CAP Foundation Kuwait. His work is also part of private collections like Pier Franco Grosso's in London, Paris, and Monaco, and Vincent Delieuvin's, chief curator of the Louvre Paris, in Paris. A recent 2024 charity Auction held by Christie's private sales in Monaco sold a 130x130 cm canvas of the artist for approximately 10 000€.
