Andris Zacests ( 1950). Emeritus professor at the Latvian Academy of Arts. Graduated Painting Department at the Latvian Academy of Arts (1969 - 1975); professor I. Zarins' Master Studio. Improvement course at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts and Vilnius Art Institute. His works are to be found in the collections of the Latvian National Museum of Art and Artists' Union of Latvia, as well as in private collections in Latvia and abroad.
