작품 상세

Signed, dated and titled on the verso of the canvas. Having a thin painted wood frame. Partial O K Harris Gallery, NY label on verso. Whitnall Park is located in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. In 2013, William Nichols wrote of this work: " This work was done on a cotton canvas that I chose so that it would be more absorbent of the paint, getting me closer to the effect of a watercolor and using a water based paint "Acrylic" to do this. It was done from the experience I wanted to achiever for myself and the viewer, that of a softer view. People tend to think of creativity in terms of the subject but it really stems from finding new ways of treating old themes and providing a new vantage point from which to experience some thing through unique techniques". We would like to thank William Nichols for authenticating this work and confirming its title. Provenance: Collection of Linda Taubman, MI. Purchased i1981, OK Harris Gallery, New York.
