This bark painting is made by Robyn Nganjmirra lived between the Gumaderr and Liverpool rivers in Western Arnhem Land, and belonged to the prolific artistic family of Nganjmirra. He was a nephew of Bobby Barrdjaray Nganjmirra, one of the best known of the older generation of Kunwiniku artists. The Nganjmirra family has preserved a strong and recognisable figurative style throughout successive generations.
