Kristaps Zariņš is a master painter of expressionistic figurative compositions. The paintings are usually dominated by female and male nudes, which, combined with elements of still life and landscape painting, refer to the world of imagination, episodes of art history, mythology, and religion. The artist also has an excellent sense of humor, so we can perceive the painting "Proclamation" both as an indication of an important event in the history of religion and as a glorification of the female body and the holiness of the miraculous act of conception. But the letters "PR" in the title of the painting bring back to the modern world, ironically hinting at how important good PR is for every event.
