His artistic endeavors revolve around deconstructing our perception of reality, emphasizing how our world is shaped and influenced by images and symbols. In this piece, which remains untitled, Mallari intricately layers his ethereal depiction of classical figures using unconventional mediums. This approach adeptly freezes the artwork in a state of being “in medias res,” immortalizing not only the final creation but also encapsulating the process of conceptualization and eventual decay through visual cues embedded within the artwork.
