(American California 1947 - ) Oil on canvas entitled 'Mother & Son' & dated 1986. Featuring Mother & son by the sea. Signed LR Original gallery label still attached to verso. SIZE: 20 x 20" overall 23 x 26". Housed in carved creme colored wood frame with gold highlights. CONDITION: Excellent. No apparent touchup or restorations. Not examined out of frame. BIO: Don Hatfield's contemporary artwork has become widely shown on TV & movies & reproduced throughout US & Japan. Born in California, he studied in New Mexico & returned. His style has been categorized as Romantic impressionist with lightened bright colors depicting especially beach scenes. This original oil painting is a beautiful example of his style & genre.
