Her paintings are closeups of seemingly recognisable objects. Details of everyday life are turned into rhythms and patterns of colour - the abstract nature of reality. Her works are based on the idea to reveal these elements and portray them visually using structures and combination of shape and colour, thus reflecting their inner logic. While this is not an emotional portrayal of everyday life, it also does not seek to reveal the ugly side of simplicity. The nature of these works is to observe from a distance using rational shapes and organising the interaction between patterns, colour and scale.
