An untitled oil portrait of an unidentified gentleman, by American portraitist Ethan Allen Greenwood. Hand signed and dated at lower left "Greenwood pinxt./1818." Housed in a museum frame with a brass plate engraved "Ethan Allan Greenwood 1779-1856." The original provenance label from the Schwarz Gallery in Philadelphia is affixed to the verso. Near Fine. Extremely minor surface marks, and several instances of minor wear to gilt on frame.
