Four (4) Framed Adolf Born (Czech, 1930-2016) Framed Print Copies. All in matching frames. Each 12 1/2"x15 1/2"x3/4". Weight on all combined 8 pds 10 oz. Adolf Born was born in 1930 in the town of Ceske Velenice on the Czech-Austrian border. In 1935 the family moved to Prague where he lived and worked until his death in 2016. He studied art education at the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in Prague 1949-1950. He enrolled the art of caricatures and illustrations tutored by Antonín Pelc with whom he then transferred to the Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1955. Born is the author of unique humorous drawings which bear his indelible mark.He has illustrated some 230 books and countess book dust covers.
