With the unaided eye, there are no issues. Closer inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no issues and no signs of restoration. The work is mounted under glass and has not been inspected out of the frame. The piece is framed in an ornate gold frame with a white/grey matting and a gold fillet. The frame is in very good condition with normal wear and the artist has signed the back of the piece.
