S. West Large Oil On Canvas Landscape Painting. (Berks County, PA early 1900's) Depicting a large airy landscape with a stream and two squirrels playing in the trees. Signed lower right "S. West 1907". S. West is a pseudonym for a group of artists, including the Shearer family, who collaborated in a studio in Reading, PA. Image size: 47-1/2" x 71-1/2". In its original gold frame. 57" x 81" overall. Condition: Very good.
