Hermann Kohlmann (1907-1982), German painter, sculptor and graphic artist, was a pupil at the Dresdner Academy under Richard Müller and Max Feldbauer, received in 1934 the Hugo Göpfert Prize, which was connected with a subsequent stay in Italy, 1937, he became known to the general public thanks to an exhibition at the Dresden Kunstsalon Emil Richter.
