Kantawarra only holds water after rain, and is shown here in the centre of the painting, dominated by the tali, or sand dunes of the area. The U shape depicts some ancestral women who came to Kantawarra to collect some of the munyun available there. Munyun is a small seed which grows on a large tree in the area.’ CONDITION REPORT: This work is in excellent, stable and original condition.
