Amos Sewell, (American illustrator 1901 - 1983) watercolor/gouache on artists board, illustration of a couple in a war torn city. The work is signed and dated 1936 in lower left corner. The work is unframed. The original Label from Redbook Publication is still affixed en verso. The illustration board measures 26" high by 30" wide. The illustration is 23" high by 25 1/2" wide. The corners are worn and there is a tear in the lower left. The wear and tear do not touch the image. Total weight is just under 2 pounds.
