PIER FRANCESCO CITTADINI (Milan, 1613/16 - Bologna, 1681) Portrait of Livia Arconati Oil on canvas, 210 x 120 cm The work is attributed to Pier Francesco Cittadini, Italian artist who after an initial training in Milan, he moved to Bologna where he had great success. Follower of Guido Reni, is best remembered for two genres of painting not much practiced in Bologna: the still life and the portrait.
