Michetti, Museo di Palazzo San Domenico in Francavilla al Mare, August - September 1953 (label on the stretcher) Provenance: Private collection, Italy A typical expressive cityscape, probably representing the Italian seaside town of Fano in the Marche Condition: The painting shows minor abrasion of the paint, but is otherwise in an excellent condition. No evidence of retouching under UV light. Bepi Longo (1920-1961) Born in Venice, Bepi Longo spent his whole life with his family in the Cannaregio district. He was educated at the forge Bevilacqua La Masa. In 1949 he exhibited the first paintings. With the support of the art critic Guido Perocco he got a studio in the Cà Pesaro owned by the Museo d'Arte Moderna.
