Michetti, Museo di Palazzo San Domenico in Francavilla al Mare, August-September 1972 (twice labeled on the stretcher frame) Provenance: Private collection, Italy 1972 the artist received the premio Michetti for the present painting (label on the stretcher frame)  Condition: The painting is overall in good condition, with scattered marks in the lower part and there are two concave bumps upper right and lower right. The tension of the canvas has slightly worked loose age-related. The framing wooden stripes show usual signs of age and wear. Riccardo Guarneri (b. 1933) The Italian painter, composer and art teacher Riccardo Guarneri, 1933 born in Florence, was firstly dedicated to music before he began to work autodidactically as a painter. In 1963, he founded the group Tempo 3 together with Giancarlo Bargoni, Attilio Carreri and Gianni Stirone. They were guided among others by the US-American pioneer of color-field painting Mark Rothko. Up from the late 1970s Guarneri worked as an art teacher at the academies of Carrara and Florence.
