The present painting probably refers to the English painter William Turner who dealt mainly with the subject of light and atmosphere. Condition: The painting is in an overall good condition, showing some finger marks to the margins and minor traces from use to the frame. Guido Biasi (1933-1983) Born in Naples, Guido Biasi studied at the local art school. In 1954 he became a member of the ‘Movimento di Pittura Nucelare’ (movement of nuclear painting), and in 1957 he signed the ‘Manifesto Abisola Marina’ along with Colucci, Piero Manzoni, Sordini and Verga. A year later he co-founded the ‘Gruppo 58’ with Luca, Del Pezzo, Di Bello and Fergola. In 1960 he moved to New York and attended the New York International Exhibition of Surrealism.
