Condition: The painting is overall in good condition, with marks mainly in the lower part and edges and corners show rubbed spots and a slight scratch to the upper margin. Claudio Verna (b. 1937) The Italian painter Claudio Verna, 1937 born in Guardiagrele in the Abruzzo region, studied up from the beginning of the 1940s at the universities in Umbria and Florence before he settled down in Rome in 1961. The artist, who belongs to the protagonists of the contemporary Italian art, focusses on non-figurative painting working with the impact and interaction of pure colors and surfaces.
