There is minor scuffing in places at the edges. Additionally, there are very scattered unobtrusive scratches and the tiniest stains and slight stretcher marks. Gian Marco Montesano (b. 1949) Gian Marco Montesano was born in Turin, where he attended the seminar the Salesians of Don Bosco. However, his intellectual and artistic inclination soon brought him to Bologna and then to Paris, where he learned about philosophy of postmodernism by Gilles Deleuze and Jean Baudrillard. Initially dominated by religious motives, Montesano broadened his subject matter during the 1980s. His paintings, often executed in black and white, base on the tradition of painting, however, experienced a conceptual and theoretical extension of meaning typical for postmodernism.
