It is a beautiful example for the painter’s lightness of brushwork and ability in coloring. German painter Wagner belonged to the Düsseldorf school of painting. He as many other artists went to Polperro to create this piece which is one of the most atmospheric places in Cornwall, England. The oil painting is monogrammed ‘CW’ lower right. It is in very good condition with slight signs of age and wear. The frame is in good condition with signs of age and wear. The total dimensions of the frame are 49.5 x 62 cm.
