Abdur Rahman Chughtai (Pakistani,1897-1975), "Untitled (Woman with Lotus)", watercolor on whatman paper, signed at lower right. Figural painting depicting the bust of a young maiden with piercing grey eyes and green headscarf adorned with green lotus flower. Verso with assorted stamps "Chughtai Museum Trust, Pakistan", with various indistinct inscriptions including "Young... is a genuine work of MA Rahman Chughtai on Whatman paper". Unframed approximately 19.25" x 15". Provenance: From the private collection of Arif Rahman Chughtai (the artist's son and director of Chughtai Museum in Lehore, Pakistan).
