MASSACHUSETTS, 1872- 1965; DATED 1894 A early example of the work of Massachusetts artist Clarence Scott White. This fall landscape watercolor was completed in 1894 when the artist was only twenty-two years old. The subtle color palette combined with White's artistic influences makes this piece a fine example of American Post-Impressionism in the late nineteenth century.
