Painterly, impressionistic strokes. Titled, "Boy, You're a Champeen Horse." Signed. With a metal plaque verso reading, "Boy, You're a Champeen Horse" / Walter Biggs / Circa 1925 / Illus. McCalls 1926." With several areas of in-painting. Old wax resin lining. 44 1/2" x 41 1/2" s.s., framed to 52 3/4" H. x 49 1/2". From the Shenandoah Life Insurance Corporate Collection, Roanoke, Virginia, where it hung in their CEO's office for many years.
