The frame is in good condition with only minor signs of use. The painting measures 22 x 16 cm. The dimensions of the frame are 26.2 x 20.2 cm. Mübin Orhon (1924-1981) Born in Istanbul the artist studied political sciences. In 1947 he moved to Paris for his Master's degree in Economics. There he took drawing classes at the Académie de la Grand Chaumiere. Already from 1950 on, he participated in group exhibitions, in 1956 he had his first solo exhibition in the avant-garde gallery Iris Clert. In 1964 Mübin Orhon went back to Turkey to do his military service, but returned to Paris in 1973, where he spent the rest of his life.
