작품 상세

Important painting, in that Edith Sachar Carson was at one time married to Mark Rothko, and painted this Mid-century abstract in 1967 long after divorcing from Mark Rothko. Carson was a jeweler and sculptor who took up painting, and perhaps shouldn't have. We believe the painting to be of horses in Saratoga as Edith was a Lake George artist.
